My Heart behind  "To Every Season" Mail Club

I am so glad you are here! My name is SarahJoy (yes, another Sarah to add to your already large list of Sarahs that you know). I am a Mama to 5 little girls, Homeschooler, wife of an incredible man, Lover of Iced coffee no matter what season we are in,  and Pastor's Wife to the best little church in the Northeast.

There are seasons in life when God’s Word feels like a lifeline—and others when it quietly anchors us without us even realizing it. Joy and sorrow. Waiting and abundance. Growth and pruning. No matter the season, Scripture remains steady, sufficient, and alive.

That truth is why I’m starting To Every Season Mail Club.

I’m starting it because I need it too.

I need the reminder to slow down.

To open God’s Word before opening my phone.

To sit with Scripture long enough for it to settle into my heart—not just pass through my mind.

God’s Word is not only for certain stages of life or specific circumstances. It is for every season. In His Word we find strength when we are weary, wisdom when we are unsure, comfort when we are grieving, and joy when we are celebrating.

“To every thing there is a season, and a time to every purpose under the heaven.”

Ecclesiastes 3:1, KJV

This mail club was created as a gentle call—to myself and to other women—to center our lives around God’s Word no matter what season we are walking through. Not by doing more, but by doing less more intentionally. One verse. One month. One quiet moment at a time.

Why Mail?

Because mail slows us down.

Snail mail used to be common. Now it’s rare—and that’s part of why it feels so meaningful when it arrives. A letter asks us to pause. To sit. To open something with our hands instead of scrolling past it with our thumbs.

I chose the mail club format because I want women to experience that pause again.

To open their letter.

To read words written just for them.

To hear from God through His Word.

To focus, meditate, and hide Scripture in their hearts.

Each month is centered around a single verse—not to rush through Scripture, but to linger with it. To memorize it. To carry it into daily life. To let it shape how we think, pray, and respond to the season we’re in.

Encouragement Was Never Meant to Stop With Us

Another reason I’m starting this mail club is because encouragement is meant to be shared.

Each month includes a postcard—not as an extra, but as an invitation. An easy way to pass along the encouragement God has given you. A way to say, “I was thinking of you.” A way to remind someone else that God sees them in their season too.

Sometimes we want to encourage others, but don’t know where to start. This club creates a simple, tangible way to do just that—without overthinking it.

A Call to Slow Down

At its heart, To Every Season Mail Club is a call to slow down.

To trade hurry for intention.

To choose presence over productivity.

To make space for God’s Word to dwell richly within us.

My prayer is that each envelope becomes a small sacred moment in your month—a reminder that no matter what season you’re in, God’s Word is enough for it.

And maybe, just maybe, that encouragement will travel beyond your mailbox and into the hands—and hearts—of others too.

One verse.

One letter.

One season at a time.

I am so glad you are here with me, and I hope we can grow to be more founded in God's word, together.
